Rapid Antigen Testing

Glasgow Airport has partnered up with ICTS UK & Ireland and the TAC Healthcare Group Ltd (TAC) to offer onsite rapid antigen testing to all passengers who require this service before they fly.

Rapid Antigen Testing, along with all other COVID tests, take place in our dedicated COVID-19 Testing Facility, located in Terminal 2.

Passengers flying who require this test will not be allowed to check-in unless they have a negative test result.  The Antigen test will offer either a negative or non-negative test.  Passengers require a negative test to be able to travel. The testing zone is located in Terminal 2 and tests will be administered by a nurse.

ICTS UK & Ireland     TAC Healthcare Group

ICTS UK & Ireland is a specialist aviation security services provider and has been a partner of the AGS Group since 2018.

TAC is a clinician-led health care provider based in Aberdeen City but covering the whole of the UK. They are regulated by Health Improvement Scotland and the Care Quality Commission.

These tests are not Day 2 or Day 8 tests and you cannot use the airport to book return tests. You must book your testing kit using the CTM Booking Portal – any other type of testing kit, such as free NHS kits or those sold by private businesses, cannot be used for these tests.

Tests should NOT be booked if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

GOV.UK Foreign travel advice

Use the link in the payment confirmation email to complete step 2 of the booking process with TAC, our Rapid Antigen Test booking partner. This step not only verifies your email address, which is essential to receiving your testing certificate, but it's also because Glasgow Airport doesn't capture essential health data which you will need to provide to TAC. This will include your GPs details, and passport number, as this information is required by the Labs in order to process your test.

Confirmation

Receive your booking confirmation email from TAC to confirm your Rapid Antigen Test slot. Note, during busy periods this can sometimes take a few hours to arrive in your inbox.

On the day

Passengers flying who require this test will not be allowed to check-in unless they have a negative test result. On arriving, these passengers must follow signs for the testing zone, located in Terminal 2 (T2) on the ground floor. At the entrance, report to the Reception desk, where further instruction will be provided. Please ensure that you provide photographic ID when attending your appointment.

The test

The process will take between 12 and 15 minutes. Passengers will be asked to wait in the testing zone until this is complete. Please note, the testing process can sometimes take longer. Once the testing process is completed, passengers will be issued a certificate via email. The certificate will be sent to the same email address that was verified when you made your booking.

Results

The Antigen test will offer either a negative or non-negative test.  Passengers will require a negative test to be able to travel.
