A winner will be drawn at random using a random number generator and will win 2 tickets in Economy class for a return flight from Glasgow to Dubai operated by Emirates (EK), taxes included.
To have a chance of winning, all you must do is tell us what attraction you'd most love to do when you get there.
The competition is open between Wednesday 1st - Wednesday 15th May.
The flight can be booked from 1st June 2024 until 31st May 2025 (latest possible return date). Blackout periods apply as follows:
- 23 – 31 August 2024
- 18 October – 3 November 2024
- 15 – 26 December 2024
- 01– 10 January 2025
- 13 – 23 February 2025
- 16 April – 5 May 2025
- 22 – 27 May 2025
All flights are subject to availability of seats in the cabin class for this type of ticket. If no seats are available in Economy class, the winners will have to choose another date and it will not be possible to pay any price difference for reservations in other cabin classes.
Once tickets are issued, any change in date or cancellation before departure or in case of no show is subject to availability and to a fee payable by the prize winner as per the ticketed fare rules.
The prize will be considered awarded if the winner and/or the companion traveller do(es) only use part of the flight tickets. Cancellation of partly used tickets is not possible.
The flight tickets are non-transferable, non-re-routable, non-endorsable and non-cashable.
Skywards Miles cannot be accrued when travelling on this ticket.
The ticket holder is entitled to normal baggage allowance as per the ticketed fare rules.
Each traveller must have a valid identity and travel documents for the intended destination before starting the flight and shall be required to obtain the necessary visas and comply with any health and immigration regulations.
The prize does not include travel to/from the airport or accommodations, any transfers, and any other part of the trip that the winner wishes to add. Any other expenses, costs or services not expressly specified above are not to be considered included.
For anything not mentioned, the Emirates general conditions of carriage apply.
Please note: For travel on any Emirates flights throughout the route network it is the responsibility of the individual passenger to ensure they have comprehensive travel insurance cover prior to beginning their journey. Visa applications for entry into countries requiring them for certain passport holders must also be obtained prior to travelling, failure to ensure the correct documentation is in place will result in the passenger being refused passage on the aircraft. Where health documents are necessary to comply with the requirements of any country, it is the responsibility of each passenger to procure them. Failure to obtain such documents could result in being refused entry into the given country.
Taxes
The Winner is solely liable for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes including but not limited to, personal tax, service tax and other entertainment tax due as a result of winning the Prize and Emirates accepts no responsibility for any tax implications arising as a result of the Prize.
The winner consents to us to contacting them via DM to redeem their prize.
AGS Airport Limited will have final say over the prize draw.
Entrants must be 18 years and over and UK residents and must consent to their photos they submitted to be used by Glasgow Airport on social media.
If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected at random.
The promoter reserves the right to offer alternative items/activities of a greater or equivalent value should unforeseen circumstances require it.
Both passengers must travel on the same flights.
Use of a false name or address will disqualify any applicant from receiving the prize.
The winner may be required to participate in post-event publicity arranged by or on behalf of the promoter.
Glasgow Airport reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for alternative prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
AGS Airport Limited takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
This competition is no way affiliated with Instagram or Facebook.
Any personal data that we collect in connection with this prize draw will be processed in accordance with our privacy notice, a copy of which can be viewed here.
AGS Airport Limited reserves the right to withdraw or amend either the prize draw or these terms and conditions at any time, without notice if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
The decision of AGS Airport Limited is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be invalid and disqualified.
You agree that if you are the winner, AGS Airport Limited will make available on request your name only as evidence of your winning.
