Glasgow Airport ready to welcome Athletic Bilbao fans ahead of their ahead of Europa League clash with Rangers fans set to travel the following week.
Several airlines are putting on charters for each leg of the ties from Glasgow Airport.
Jet2, TUI and Vueling Airlines are among some of the 20 charter flights being serviced over the next week.
It is expected that 1,300 travelling Athletic Bilbao fans could arrive at Glasgow Airport for the first leg on the 10th of April with more than 2,100 expected to travel for the return leg on the 17th of April.
More fans of both teams could arrive and depart from Glasgow Airport through various other destinations available.
Ronald Leitch, Chief Operating Officer of AGS Airports, which own and operate Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports, said: “We have several airlines putting on charter flights with a huge demand for the clashes.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the Athletic Bilbao fans to the city in the coming days and will be supporting the Rangers fans going to the away leg next week.
“For home fans needing some football merchandise before they jet off to the game, our Rangers store in the terminal will be open.”
