easyJet launches new route from Glasgow to Belfast City Airport

easyJet has launched a new route from Glasgow to Belfast City airport.

Flights will launch on 31 October 2022 with departures on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the winter season until 24 March 2023.

The service will provide customers in Scotland with more convenient connections to Northern Ireland this winter.

easyJet is the largest airline at Glasgow providing flights to 24 destinations across 12 countries across UK, Europe and North Africa and a winter break to Northern Ireland’s capital promises a lively atmosphere, cultural gems and plenty of family friendly activities including a visit to the famous Titanic museum or the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Giant’s Causeway.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager said: “We are delighted to be launching our new service from Glasgow, to Belfast City, and putting seats on sale today further strengthening our network in Scotland and providing our customers, whether they’re travelling for leisure or business, with more convenient connections to Northern Ireland, which we know will prove popular with those looking to explore and enjoy all the UK has to offer this winter.

“We are proud to be the largest airline in Glasgow and in Scotland and remain committed to offering customers great value fares and more choice when they fly with us.”

Ronald Leitch, Operations Director at Glasgow Airport, said: “This is a welcome announcement from easyJet given how popular the Glasgow Belfast route is with both Scots travellers and those visiting from Northern Ireland.

“Belfast City Airport is also just a five-minute journey from the heart of the capital, which makes it the best option for business and leisure travellers looking for a speedy and convenient commute.”
