BA Cityflyer, British Airways’ wholly-owned subsidiary and Glasgow Airport are celebrating the successful launch of a brand-new direct service connecting Glasgow with the Spanish coastal city of San Sebastián.
The seasonal twice-weekly route had its first flight on Saturday (18th July) and provides Scottish travellers with direct access to one of Spain’s most sought-after summer destinations.
Operating every Tuesday and Saturday until 8th September 2026, the service offers customers the opportunity to explore the picturesque Basque city, renowned for its golden beaches, world-class gastronomy and rich cultural heritage.
San Sebastián, situated on Spain’s northern coast, is famous for its stunning La Concha beach, vibrant Old Town and exceptional culinary scene, making it a popular destination for both leisure travellers and food enthusiasts.

The launch of the San Sebastián service further enhances BA Cityflyers’ leisure offering from Glasgow having launched a Palma route in May.
