Glasgow Airport welcomes a route to Paris Orly Airport for the first time from new European airline Vueling.
The low-cost carrier will operate two services per week to Orly from Thursday 4 November.
Operating each Thursday and Sunday, the new service will bring an additional capacity of 18,000 seats.
Matt Hazelwood, Commercial Director for AGS Airports Ltd, which owns Glasgow Airport, said: “We are really pleased to announce two firsts for Glasgow Airport – a new route to Orly and a new airline partner.
“Paris has always been a very popular destination for Scottish leisure and business passengers. The Paris Orly route will deliver even greater choice and capacity to one of Europe’s most visited cities, which is very welcome news indeed.
“We also look forward to welcoming our new airline partner Vueling to Glasgow Airport when the first flight arrives next month.”
The one hour 55-mintue flight will be operated using an Airbus A321 aircraft initially until the end of March 2022.
