We want to share the Scottish Government guidance we have received so far regarding the travel restrictions that will remain in place between 6pm on Friday 20th November until Friday 11th December.
The Scottish Government has stated:
People in level 0 – 2 local authority areas can transit through level 3 & 4 local authority areas to use airports for holidays.
Those in level 3 and 4 can only leave their local authority area for essential purposes – such as essential overseas travel.
We would ask that passengers continue to check with their airline regarding their flight status in the first instance and that they make themselves aware of the latest Scottish Government COVID-19 guidelines, which are available here.
Glasgow Airport remains open and operational as has been the case throughout the entire pandemic and we will update our customers when we know more.
