Final call for passenger representatives
The Glasgow Airport Consultative Committee has issued a call for four new members who can represent the diverse views of the communities and passengers served by the airport.
First established in 1975, the independent committee meets quarterly with airport management to discuss a range of topics including terminal developments, surface access, community engagement, the passenger experience and how the airport grows in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Current membership includes representation from all the local authorities whose areas fall under the airport’s flightpath, Scottish travel trade associations, chambers of commerce and passenger interest groups, as well as other stakeholders.
The committee now wishes to invite four new individuals who can provide valuable input into the work of the committee from their own experience and that of the diverse categories of passengers at the airport.
The roles are voluntary and members are required to attend each of the quarterly meetings which are usually held in January, April, July and October
If you are interested in helping to shape the future development of Glasgow Airport then please submit a CV with a covering letter setting out why you would like to join the committee to jennifer.stewart.sup@glasgowairport.com.
