Changes to Cabin Baggage Security Requirements

Please note that due to evolving safety and regulatory requirements for cabin baggage, certain items previously permitted may no longer be allowed into the airport security restricted area or onboard an aircraft. Airport security staff will not let anything through a security checkpoint that they consider dangerous or for which they are unable to resolve potential concerns - even if it has previously been allowed in hand luggage.

Arrangements may vary between airports and will include security officer assessments on the day. Passengers should check before travelling for advance advice given by airports from, and through, which you may travel.

Glasgow City Centre Roadworks

Due to major roadworks on North Hanover Street in Glasgow city Centre, some of the 500 Airport bus services stops will be affected. Passengers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

Towards Glasgow Airport

Bus stops on North Hanover Street and St Vincent Place will not be served. Please use the alternative stops on Bath Street (opposite Sainsbury's) and St Vincent Street (opposite Lloyds Banking Group). 

The bus stop on Waterloo Street (opposite Morgan Stanley) before joining the M8 will not be in use. Please use the alternative stop on Waterloo Street before West Campbell Street during this time. 

Towards Buchanan Bus Station

Bus stops at Queen Street Station and North Hanover Street will not be served. Please use the alternative stop on West George Street (alight here for Queen Street Station).
