Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced further details of its Summer 19 programme, with the launch of two new destinations for the airline from Glasgow Airport - Bourgas (Bulgaria) and Izmir (Turkey).
The announcement follows the recent launch of new routes to Kos and Naples and means a total of 33 destinations on sale from Glasgow Airport, a total of 950,000 seats which represents 11% capacity growth.
From May 2019, the company will operate a weekly Tuesday service to Bourgas (Bulgaria), meaning almost 8,000 seats in its first year of operation from Glasgow Airport.
The destination offers great value for money as well as miles of golden sands along the Black Sea. What’s more, with a range of 2-5 star hotels on sale, holidaymakers can soak up the Balkan sun in resorts such as Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Obzor and St Vlas.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ second new destination for Summer 19 from Glasgow Airport is Izmir, Turkey, which has been added in response to the huge demand for great value package holidays to Turkey.
With over 9,000 seats and weekly services every Thursday, holidaymakers have plenty of choice when it comes to accessing popular family friendly resorts on the west coast of Turkey such as Kusadasi, Cesme, Ozdere and Seferihisar.
