Glasgow Airport's outstanding performance recognised with award win

Glasgow Airport award win

Glasgow Airport has secured a prestigious accolade for exceptional business performance at the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce business awards, which were held on Friday 14 November at the Normandy Hotel.

The airport took poll position in the ‘outstanding performing business with over 25 staff’ category at the 11th annual ROCCO awards, which celebrate the success and achievements of Renfrewshire businesses.

This category was set up to recognise businesses with strong leadership skills and clearly defined strategic objectives which have helped to shape their growth and development.  In winning the award, the airport was recognised for creating a company culture which nurtures employee development and creativity.

The ROCCO win comes shortly after Glasgow Airport was honoured for its Excellence in Customer Service at the Glasgow Business Awards in October.

It also follows the airport reporting its 21st consecutive month of growth and busiest October in six years when 734,000 passengers travelled through its doors – an increase of  2.7% compared to the same period last year.
