Services to Glasgow city centre

First Service 500 (Glasgow Shuttle)

First's Glasgow Shuttle provides you with the most direct service between the airport and Glasgow city centre with links to Glasgow's two main rail stations – Central and Queen Street – and the main bus terminus, Buchanan Bus Station.

The service operates up to every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, and takes only 25 minutes end to end.

All buses are low-floor for easy accessibility, and have luggage racks and free WiFi access to help you make the most of your journey time.

First also operates over 100 services across greater Glasgow, offering connections to or from most parts of the area.

First Service 747 (AirLink)

First's 747 AirLink service operates between Glasgow Airport and the city centre via Renfrew, Braehead, Partick, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Charing Cross, making it ideal for visiting the west end of the city as well as visiting some of Glasgow's best retail and tourist attractions on the way into the city centre.

First 747 AirLink buses run up to every 20 minutes and journey time to Buchanan bus station is around 48 minutes. Service 747 provides direct access to many visitor attractions and hotels, and connects with the First network at Partick or Glasgow city centre. All of First’s AirLink buses are low floor and fully accessible.

Single fare: £4.10

Return: £5. Plus, use your £5 return ticket (FirstDay Plus) for unlimited travel, network-wide until 1am* on the day after purchase as well as your return leg to or from the airport within two weeks.

2 Journey adult ticket: £3.95. Valid on the day of purchase on First services including 747 AirLink.

FirstDay Network: Adult ticket costs only £5.50 and is valid for unlimited travel* on service 747 and on First services across Greater Glasgow until 01:00 on the day after purchase.

McGills Service 66 (Air-Rail Link via Paisley Gilmour Street Station)

Service 66 is a high-frequency bus service from Glasgow Airport to Dykebar via Gilmour Street Station. The service is served by low-floor vehicles.

Citylink Service 915 (Skye via Loch Lomond and Fort William)

Coaches to national destinations

Coaches to destinations around Scotland and the UK, run by operators including National Express and Scottish Citylink, call at Buchanan Bus Station in central Glasgow. To get there from the airport, use bus services 500 or 747 (see above).
