Stretch, unwind and start your journey as you mean to go on. At Relaxation Station (after security control) you can choose from a range of stress-busting acupressure massage treatments to ease away those aches. These through-the-clothes treatments use no oils and you don't need to book in advance.

Alternatively, for a completely different massage experience try the Instant Massage chairs in the departure lounge (also after security). They're great fun and it only costs £1 for three minutes of kneading, rolling and tapping in true shiatsu style.

10. Curl up with a bestseller

Head to WHSmith Books (after security) and pick up the latest blockbuster novel (or a classic, travel guide or phrase book), then settle down to do all that reading you never have time for. Before you know it, you'll wonder where the time went. Travelling with the family? There are plenty of titles to keep children amused too.
