Public transport

From Tuesday June 8 we are changing the way passengers and motorists access Glasgow Airport. We're investing £2 million to make it easier and safer for passengers to access the airport, with a new purpose built passenger drop-off zone opening close to the main terminal. Information on this page is currently being updated to reflect this change.

Moving Glasgow Airport forward 


Buses

Glasgow Airport is served by several public bus operators.

Arriva operates the Glasgow Flyer (service 500) on the Glasgow city centre route and these buses are fully accessible.

Further bus and coach information


Trains

Paisley Gilmour Street rail station is two miles from Glasgow Airport. A ramp for wheelchair access to the platforms can be made available on request.

The bus service from Gilmour Street to the airport is fully accessible.

Taxis

A number of fully accessible taxis are available to wheelchair users from Glasgow Airport.
