Glasgow Airport noise action plan

Our noise action plan seeks to manage and, where possible, minimise aircraft-related noise at Glasgow Airport.

The EU and Scottish Government require airports with over 50,000 movements a year – including Glasgow – to produce a noise action plan. For details please visit www.scotland.gov.uk.

We are aware that aircraft noise remains a real concern for our local communities, particularly in view of the airport's plans to expand in the coming years.

We hope this noise action plan will enable us to develop our relationship with our communities and other key stakeholders, and to improve our understanding of residents' concerns and priorities, so that we can take effective action in response.

As part of the preparation of the plan, public consultation was carried out to obtain the views of local residents and other interested parties. This consultation has now closed; however, we are always open to discussion of noise-related queries or concerns.

If you have any questions or comments regarding the action plan or noise in general, please contact us on 0800 013 2429. Calls are free and the line is open 24 hours.
