Glasgow Airport wins ROCCO award for outstanding customer service

Glasgow Airport has once again secured a prestigious accolade for its efforts in customer service at the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce business awards, which were held on Friday 20 November at the Normandy Hotel.

The airport took top position in the ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ category at the ROCCOs, which celebrate the success and achievements of Renfrewshire businesses.

This award was set up to recognise a company that “demonstrates excellence through their customer service objectives and strategy, customer care activities, staff development plans and show how this has driven business growth.”

The ROCCO win comes shortly after Glasgow Airport was crowned UK Airport of the Year at the National Transport Awards.  It also follows on from the airport reporting its busiest October in eight years after 836,798 passengers travelled through its doors - an annual increase of 14%.  

In November, aviation trade body, ACI Europe, also categorised Glasgow Airport as one of the fastest growing airports in Europe during the third quarter of 2015.
