Glasgow Airport strengthens its French connection

Glasgow Airport has landed more new routes for 2012 after a major holiday company announced plans to launch direct flights to three of France’s most popular cities.
France Travel Services is set to offer flight only and holiday packages to Nantes, Lyon and Paris, and expects to carry in excess of 10,000 passengers in its first year.
This will be the first time Glasgow Airport has offered direct flights to the beautiful city of Nantes. The city, which is the birthplace of the world famous crepe, is renowned for its seafood and fine wine and is expected to be a popular choice with food and drink aficionados.
The introduction of a summer service to the magnificent city of Lyon, a gastronomic and historical city with a vibrant cultural scene, will also be a first for Glasgow.

The weekly flights to Lyon, Nantes and Paris will take off on 16 May 2012 and will run throughout the busy summer season.
