Calgary and Vancouver cleared for takeoff from Glasgow Airport
24 April 2013
Canadian Affair’s summer flights from Glasgow Airport direct to Calgary and Vancouver commence on Wednesday 1 May.
Scotland’s largest tour operator to Canada will operate a weekly service to both destinations until October, with economy class fares from just £498 return.
The return flight departs from Calgary and Vancouver on a Tuesday afternoon, arriving back into Glasgow the following day.
The flights will be operated by Canadian Affair’s sister company Air Transat, using state-of-the-art Airbus A330 aircraft with newly refitted interiors with a host of improvements in both Economy and Club classes.
These include roomier, ergonomically designed leather seats and touchscreen-based personal entertainment systems with over 140 channels on demand.
The aircraft also feature a brand-new mood lighting system, which employs sophisticated technology to vary cabin lighting levels and colours, smoothing the transitions between the various phases of a flight.
Kathryn Munro, Canadian Affair’s communication and marketing director, said: “With state of the art interiors on board our flights to Calgary and Vancouver, we know journeys to Canada’s West Coast will pass very quickly for our Scottish passengers.”
Canadian Affair’s service to Toronto is also increasing from the winter weekly flight, to a four times weekly service from 2nd May, 2013. Flights are operated by Air Transat A310 aircraft.
In addition to flights, Canadian Affair also tailor-makes high quality trips to include a wide-range of hotels, Rocky Mountaineer train tours, fly-drive holidays, cruises, motor-homes, Escorted coach tours and much more at the lowest prices.
